Harrison Spinks Events is a unique event business based in North Yorkshire, with three of its own charming venues — Hornington Manor, The Oakwood at Ryther and The Motorist.

Whether you are looking to host a corporate away-day with a difference, a unique wedding, an intimate celebration or a lavish party, our distinctive venues are the perfect backdrop for your unforgettable event. Our experienced events teams will work with you every step of the way, from planning the initial concept to on-the-day coordination, to create a truly memorable occassion.

Our events business is part of the Harrison Spinks Group and the journey began in 2009, when we purchased a 300-acre farm just outside of Tadcaster to grow natural fillings for Harrison Spinks mattresses. The farm was home to a beautiful Grade II listed Manor House and, following a loving restoration project, Hornington Manor was transformed into a charming barn wedding venue with luxury accommodation for up to 44 guests.

We have recently opened a second events and wedding venue, the Oakwood at Ryther located just 15 minutes from Hornington Manor. Our third venue, The Motorist, has been running for the past year, and is a petrol-head’s heaven on earth, with a classic car showroom, café and restoration garage. The large event space and restaurant is being added at the moment and will be finished in summer 2021.
